Pupil Voice

Our school council have been very busy since they were established in Autumn Term! So far, they have raised £104 for Children in Need by arranging a non-uniform day and completing a sponsored 25-lap-run of the playground! They have big plans for the rest of the year and are hoping to arrange a Valentine's Disco / Party in February to raise money for some new school equipment.

Meet Our School Council

Why did you want to be a part of the school council?

"I wanted to change a little bit of school and get more things to play with at break and lunch times. I'd love some swings or a slide!" - Imogen

"I wanted to make everyone happy at playtime at playtime and make sure that everyone feels happy and nice," - Ella

"I wanted to sort out events for the whole school," - Hector

"I wanted to make sure that everyone is safe and people are always friendly," - Phoenix

What did you have to do to become a member of the school council?

"We had to tell the class about ourselves and we could send a video or writing. I did a video telling the class all about me" - Logan

"We had to submit an application - which was a poster - telling Mrs Cole and the class why we wanted to be on school council and the things that we would like to change or do if we made it to the council" - Imogen and Hector

What is one thing you would like to achieve this year for the school?

"I want to try and raise money to get more things to play on the playground. I think playtimes could be more fun!" - Imogen

"I want to raise money for more equipment for school. It would be good to look at the things we have for lessons and what we need to get more of!" - Ella

"I want to arrange a Valentines themed party to raise money for the school," - Hector

"I want to look at getting PE hoodies with the school logo on them. It would be so good to have them!" - Phoenix
