Class News
We are delighted to welcome the children back to school this week. We have an awesome year planned and have lots to look forward to.
Class Dojo
Please check Class Dojo regularly as this is where we will share lots of pictures of your children's learning and it's a great way to keep in touch. If you need any help accessing Class Dojo please speak to Mrs Tomlinson.
Class Dojos are awarded to reward positive behaviour and at the end of the week the child (or children!) with the most dojos is selected to choose a prize from Mrs Tomlinson's prize box.
PE
We have two PE days this year which will be Monday and Thursday. Children will need to come to school wearing their full PE kit on these days. Please check the school website if you are unsure of what our PE kit should look like.
Home Learning
We will set home learning tasks on a Friday to be returned the following Thursday. Home learning is a great way for you to support your child's learning at home and revisits and builds on learning from the previous week. Class Dojos are awarded to the children who have completed their homework.
Reading
Your child will come home with a reading book which is suited to their reading ability. We encourage you to listen to your child read aloud as often as possible and to please fill in your child's reading recording whenever you have heard them read. Class Dojos are awarded for those children who are reading regularly at home.
