Pupil Voice
Our school council have been very busy this half term. Their first task was to organise all the outdoor play equipment and order new resources, which suited everyone in our school. They did a superb job and ordered some foam skittles, colourful bouncing balls, new footballs and target throwing game. We loved watching them support our younger children in learning how to play with the new games and there was a lot of giggling whilst trying to knock down the skittles!
Their next task is to organise a fundraising event for Children In Need, which they have already decided will be rainbow themed! Watch this space for more information!
Rainbow Day
School Council did an amazing job of organising a Rainbow Day to raise money for Children in Need - £57 raised in total! Everyone loved wearing their rainbow clothes and hair and to support Children In Need's focus of Mental Health they organised exercise stations on our daily mile track and we had a calm morning of yoga.
Raising Money for St. John's Hospice - an incredible 183 laps of the daily mile track completed and £400 raised!
